Motoring slow down, saves money

An AA report has shown that people are finally slowing down on the roads. However, it has nothing to do with camera's or fines; it's to do with the cost of fuel.

Drivers are able to save up to 6p a litre, by slowing down and gaining an extra 3MPG.

An AA spokesman said:

“For most motorists – particularly families on a budget – fuel has become a much more convincing argument to slow down than the threat of a speed camera,”
